Timed Ticketed General Admission

Please select the 2-hour general admission time slot when you would like to visit the Museum. Admission to the Museum includes a self-guided tour through the Museum’s permanent collection galleries and special exhibitions, including: Women in Racing and Muybridge and Motion: Selections from the Tang Teaching Museum Collection. Watch “What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame,” the new 16-minute film that brings viewers on an amazing journey through the various aspects of thoroughbred racing and examines the rare honor — given to less than one percent of the sport’s participants — of reaching the game’s pinnacle and earning a coveted spot in the Hall of Fame.


October through May the Museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Easter.


Please note that masks are required for all staff and visitors over the age of 2 unless there is a legitimate medical exemption. Please also adhere to 6-foot social distancing requirements.
