General Museum Admission

Admission to the Museum includes a self-guided tour through the Museum’s permanent collection galleries and special exhibitions. Watch “What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame,” the new 16-minute film that brings viewers on an amazing journey through the various aspects of thoroughbred racing and examines the rare honor — given to less than one percent of the sport’s participants — of reaching the game’s pinnacle and earning a coveted spot in the Hall of Fame. The movie plays every hour on the half hour, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m.

The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, and Kentucky Derby Day (for a fundraising event).
